The Morgana Major Folder is a suction-feed paper folding machine designed for fast, accurate folding across a wide range of stocks and sheet sizes. It handles sheets up to 674 x 365 mm and supports paper weights from around 56 to 240 gsm, making it suitable for everything from lightweight inserts to heavier cover stock. Folding speed is variable up to 27,000 A4 sheets per hour, giving operators control across both short and longer production runs.
In specification terms, the machine features a powerful suction feeder, side-lay alignment, a low-pressure suction chamber to control curled sheets, and enclosed fold plates with Morgana’s “Dial-a-Fold” system. An LED display shows fold plate position to 0.1 mm for accurate repeat settings. Standard features also include counting and batching, double-sheet and anti-jam detection, plus plug-in perforating and scoring capability for added finishing flexibility.
